“Dentistry means a great deal to me. It has inspired me to work harder than I ever thought possible, and has taken me to places to meet wonderful people that I would have never had the opportunity to meet before. I am continually inspired by my family of patients to provide incredible care every day to help them maintain oral health for a lifetime.
“My team is made up of individuals hand picked for their dedication to delivering state-of-the-art dentistry to our patients. This group is so smart and the synergistic effect is evident in what we accomplish every day. As a group we complement one another and truly enjoy working and playing together.”

Dr. Powers is a native of Jackson and has been proud to live, work, and raise his family in such a wonderful community. He and his wife Elaine have been married for 43 years. They have a daughter, Lindsay, who lives in Phoenix and a son, Ryan, who lives in Chicago. Dr. Powers dedicates most of his free time to studying new advances in dentistry, but when he takes a break from his constant reading, he can be found on the golf course.
Dr. Powers supports many charities, with special attention to juvenile diabetes and the Walk for the Cure every September. After a trip to Kenya to work with Kenya Relief, Dr. Powers has been in continual contact with the local mission: a combination of orphanage, school, and clinic that will soon be the major hospital in that part of the country.
