Meet Dr. Rosalee Beredo

Rosalee Beredo, DDS

Dr. Rosalee Beredo graduated from Lumen Christi High School in 2005 as valedictorian. She was one of eight students to enter the six year Accelerated Dental Program at the University of Detroit Mercy, which enabled her to attain both her Bachelor of Science and Doctorate of Dental Surgery in six years.

While in dental school, Dr. Beredo was actively involved in student organizations. She was a member of the Student National Dental Association (SNDA), which focused on opportunities for minorities in the dental field and organized various events such as Oral Cancer Walk, Impressions Program for college and high school students, Safety Street, and Taste of Diversity.

Dr. Beredo is committed to giving back to her community. She volunteered at the dental clinic at Bay Cliff Health Camp in Big Bay, MI where she provided dental care for adult campers with physical and mental disabilities. Dr. Beredo also served in the Dental Mission Trip to Honduras in August, 2010 and traveled to a rainforest reservation with the University of Detroit Mercy’s Christian Dental Association to provide dental services to those less fortunate. Other community service activities that she has participated in include Give Kids a Smile, Michigan Day of Oral Health Outreach, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Coalition of Temporary Shelter (COTS), and Special Olympics Special Smiles.

Dr. Beredo grew up in Jackson, MI. After attending college and dental school in Detroit, she realized that she was a small town girl at heart and returned to her hometown to join the practice of Donald Powers, DDS.
